Dear America’s Mattress Customers,
During times like these, quality sleep is more important than ever. America’s Mattress has always maintained stringent health and safety standards in our stores and on our delivery trucks. Staying true to our commitment to help care for you, our friends and neighbors, we’ve implemented thoughtful procedures to ensure the health and safety of our customers and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of the most pertinent measures are listed below:
Retail Stores
  • We’ve removed pillows from our showroom floors and are providing each customer with a clean, disposable pillow protector to use when selecting a mattress.
  • All surfaces are being thoroughly disinfected multiple times a day, including door handles, desks, restrooms, and showroom furniture.
  • Hand sanitizer and access to clean, well-stocked restrooms are available for all of our customers and employees.
  • Handshakes have been suspended and appropriate social distancing is taking place between employees and customers.
Delivery Services
  • We’ve implemented an additional “No-Touch Delivery” option that a customer can request at the time of sale. “No-Touch Delivery” means we will leave your securely-sealed mattress outside your home in a designated area for you to bring into your home.
  • Delivery team members are putting on fresh shoe covers and disposable gloves for each home delivery.
  • Tablets, cell phones, and trucks are being wiped down in between each home delivery with disinfecting wipes.
  • All mattresses are shipped directly from the manufacturer in Colorado in sealed bags and are transported to the customer’s home in the sealed bag.
  • Mattresses that are removed from customers’ homes are securely sealed in plastic before being placed on our delivery trucks and are kept separate from new mattresses.
  • As always, you are welcome to pick up your mattress from our local warehouse and transport it to your home. We are happy to help securely load your mattress into your vehicle for you.
Our commitment to you is stronger than ever. We are open for business and would like to remind you that you can also shop with us via telephone, online, or through our website chat feature. We have skilled team members to help you select a mattress that will be the best fit for you. Caring for yourself and your family with quality sleep will help maintain your health and emotional wellbeing. As always, we’re here for you. Please feel free call us, the store owners, John and Garrett Munzenrieder, at 970-658-5940 if you need to speak with us. Wishing you health and restorative sleep now and for years to come.

Pros and Cons of Ordering a Mattress Online

Over the past decade, the retail industry has changed dramatically. More and more people are buying their goods online and having them shipped directly to their homes. You’ve likely seen that you can even shop for mattresses online, and many mattress retailers don’t even have the option of coming into a store to see them before you buy. If you’re in the market for a new mattress and you’re trying to decide whether or not to get yours from a mattress store in Fort Collins or if you’d rather just order one online, we may be able to help. In today’s post from America’s Mattress, we want to discuss some of the pros and cons of ordering your next mattress online. Keep reading and then visit our website to browse our selection.

Pros For Ordering Your Next Mattress Online

Some people prefer to do their shopping online. Here are a few benefits of being able to do your shopping from the comfort of your own home.

Convenience

When it comes to buying a mattress, there’s nothing more convenient than shopping in your pajamas and completing your purchase with the click of a button. Buying online offers the ultimate in convenience for shoppers who don’t have the time or would rather not venture out to a store. What may otherwise take you the better part of a Saturday can be accomplished on a Tuesday night after dinner. However, convenience isn’t the only thing people look for in their shopping experience — the ultimate goal is to find the right item for your needs, otherwise, a quick and easy purchase doesn’t really matter.

Safety

You may not think of safety as a reason to buy online, but with the recent COVID-19 pandemic, minimizing contact with the outside world is a good thing to do right now. If you’re like so many others who are practicing social distancing and staying at home as much as possible, buying a mattress online is really a smart option. Just make sure to do your homework before making your purchase — there are many choices when it comes to buying a mattress so you’ll want to learn about each of them before making your final decision.

Speaking of safety, did you know that America’s Mattress only sells mattresses that are made in Colorado and we offer free no-touch delivery to any location along the Front Range.

Cons For Ordering Your Next Mattress Online

Once things get back to normal and people resume their normal shopping and social habits, we would encourage anyone looking for a new mattress to stop by our mattress store in Fort Collins. There are several reasons why we think shopping in person can have an advantage over just buying online.

See and Feel Before You Buy

There are many things you’d probably rather be doing than spending your time buying a new mattress, but let us assure you that this is a decision not to be taken lightly — it’s one that could affect your health and wellness for many years to come. While we encourage everyone looking to buy a new mattress to do some research and get familiar with different mattress materials, styles, and brands, there’s nothing better than being able to see and feel them for yourself. What looks good on the screen or in the T.V. commercials may look enticing, but you won’t really know until you see it in person.

Ask Questions For a More Informed Decision

You’ll be spending a third of every day on your new mattress so you want to be absolutely sure that it’s the right one for you. Although you can find plenty of resources on the internet that will help you learn about different types of mattresses, often the most helpful information comes from people who have first-hand experience. By visiting an actual store, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn things that you may not have otherwise found just by doing an internet search.
